What is a normal day for an Account Director at OTM? This is difficult to answer because my days are far from normal. As an Account Director, I am constantly working with different clients and projects while trying to simultaneously create new and innovative marketing solutions.
From graduating from Ball State University – Chirp Chirp – to moving to Colorful Colorado, my life the past few years has been a whirlwind. I worked as an Account Coordinator for an agency in Iowa before joining the OTM team in May 2018. In the midst of all my life-altering changes, I started Tipsy Gypsy, a personal cocktail blog and Instagram account. Through Tipsy Gypsy, I have been able to try some of the world’s best cocktails, visit amazing places to grab a drink and even bring my creative and savvy social skills to work.

I work with our Chief Strategy Officer to form a yearly marketing strategy for each of our clients. The overall strategy then gets broken down into measurable monthly goals such as a higher conversion rate on pay per click campaigns, growing a social media base and attracting more press coverage. After working with our internal specialists to meet these goals, I report on successes, troubleshoot and review the goals for the upcoming month with each client.
My life can be somewhat defined as organized chaos, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I make to-do lists like nobody’s business, have three computer screens running at all times, typically have a highlighter in hand and am never far from a caffeine source.
Every day is different, but at the end of the day, everyone at OTM truly cares about the success of our clients and the quality work that leaves our office. It’s an inspiring and challenging job that makes life very interesting.Back
