Digital Marketing & PPC Specialist

We’re seeking an experienced Digital Marketing & PPC Specialist to run search and display campaigns, monitor our paid search budgets, develop SEO strategies and create content. The Digital Marketing & PPC Specialist will manage the development, implementation and day-to-day operations of PPC strategies across all major networks (Google, Bing, etc) and they will leverage the customer journey to create compelling and optimized content. You should be an extremely analytical problem-solver, detail-oriented (especially when it comes to writing), logical and curious about the future of paid search and digital marketing as a whole.

Performance Outcomes

  • You are able to analyze campaigns and identify areas of opportunity and concern and develop solutions for these
  • You proactively evaluate new and existing platforms, industry trends and news
  • Manage campaign budget and adjust campaign strategy accordingly to optimize client ROI
  • You prepare and deliver clear reports to clients (and internally) outlining campaign successes, issues and next steps
  • You understand how conversions and outcomes of campaigns impact overall client marketing strategy

Tasks and Duties

  • Determine appropriate conversions, set up conversion tracking and create event/goal tracking in various platforms – must be able to identify necessary tracking needs and work with our in-house developer to create integrations for reporting and analysis
  • Create and manage UTM codes for Campaign ROI tracking
  • Manage, review, and perform daily account responsibilities associated with Google Ads, Yahoo, Bing and other search platforms for a variety of clients
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of campaigns assisting in keyword research, ad copy creation, landing page recommendations/testing, and performance analysis
  • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, shifts in budgets, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other facets of paid search in accordance with client goals
  • Provide oversight, manage, and be able to generate weekly and monthly client reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other paid search initiatives
  • Keep pace with search engine and PPC industry trends and developments
  • Develop content strategies for clients that are trackable, measurable and within budget
  • Develop SEO strategies such as developing link-building campaigns, optimizing rich snippets, alt tags and page titles
  • Evaluate and improve inbound lead quality on a client by client basis
  • Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance in accordance client goals
  • Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in any Digital Marketing Specialist related field, PPC specific experience preferred but not required
  • Agency experience preferred but not required
  • Google Adwords and Analytics certifications preferred but not required (opportunities for paid personal professional development available)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience working with one or more digital platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Yahoo, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Pinterest
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments (i.e. working on up to or more than 10 client projects/day)
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work hard
  • Experience preparing reports
  • Experience writing sales or marketing content
  • Self-motivated and able to self-teach
  • Strong communication and time-management skills
  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail
