We heard this great quote on a web conference this weekend and it was one of those aha moments for us. So often we have clients come to us who want random design elements for no other reason in that they think it is ‘cool’. It is very important to ask yourself when creating your website; what will actually make me a return on my investment? What is my marketing plan? After asking yourself these questions, then start to think of how your site design will influence those two decisions. Don’t just pick random items to put into your site because you think they will look good. Remember that your site isn’t for you, it’s entirely for your customers… and to make you money.
