Background and Experience

Val knows that creative solutions are at the heart of every successful business. With a background in design and a passion for problem-solving, she brings a creative perspective to every project she works on. Her expertise lies in empathically aligning with business problems and designing custom solutions that directly address those problems – ultimately growing the bottom line of each client’s business.

Her focus on growth doesn’t stop with her team. Val is an accomplished and active member of the Northern Colorado community. Since the beginning, she has been an active community member serving on organizations such as LLAC, Project Smile, Poudre School District Foundation, and is a graduate of the NoCo Leadership program. Val’s current passion is helping fellow business owners thrive during an ever-changing economic climate. She currently resides on the Northern Colorado Legislative Alliance as a board member advocating for small businesses.

As the Head of Marketing at Encompass Technologies, I considered Old Town Media an extension of our marketing team. OTM worked closely with us on rebranding and repositioning, multiple industry-first product launches, key industry events, and integrated demand generation campaigns while we grew our marketing team and acquired new companies. With the help of OTM, we grew our pipeline and bested industry benchmarks for Software as a Service (SaaS) sales and marketing efficiency metrics. We came to rely on OTM for tactical execution to augment our team but where they added the most value was in our rebranding strategy and market positioning efforts.
