What We Did:
Supporting our community is one of Old Town Media’s three core values, so when The Arc of Larmier County needed a help in communicating its services and values to Northern Colorado, we were happy to oblige. Now serving as Strategic and Creative Partner to the organization, Old Town Media, we work closely with their Communications Manager and Executive Director to implement projects and work within their budget.
Providing a wide variety of advocacy and support services to Individuals with Disabilities is a big job, and nothing wraps up the Arc of Larimer County’s impact like its annual report. That meant it had to make a big splash: Working closely with Arc staff, we helped develop a report that didn’t merely communicate key data, but presented the essence of the organization and the transformative impact it has on many lives. Read the latest annual report here.
Our partnership continues past the report, as we supplement internal communications with everything from advice and outside perspective to creative contributions to auditing messages and campaigns to ensure every communication makes maximum impact.
This partnership thrived as we helped promote the Fifth Annual Arc of Larimer County Film Festival. Aggressively marketing the festival, which featured films about or made by individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, we worked with the Arc to develop a guerrilla marketing campaign that featured person-on-the-street interviews recorded at Colorado State University with the help of Denver news reporter Connor Long, which were then used as online promotions and on-screen advertisements at movie theaters. We also lent a hand with traditional promotions, helping craft street banners, fliers, posters, press releases, table tents and digital assets.
The result? A nearly full house at the Colorado State University theater, media coverage and smiles all around at the Festival.
Old Town Media is proud to have developed a partnership with the Arc of Larimer County. We’ll continue to do our best work to support them as they do their good works.
